Our picture shows Bedfordshire Area Ramblers supported by Ivel Valley Group and others at the Bedford River Festival. Our aim was to demonstrate the changing face of Walking Activities and its appeal to people of all ages, especially now that we have Julia Bradbury as President of the Ramblers Association. Here are just some of the advantages of joining the IVW on a walk
There's no need to make arrangements in advance, just turn up on the day at the appointed place and time
We offer a weekly choice of different length led walks to suit your time, availability and fitness levels
Our walks are a social event, you're free to converse with others or walk silently, the choice is yours
