RIPPLE....... Restoring & Improving Public Paths for Local Enjoyment
The work typically entails footpath clearance, waymark posts, and style and kissing gate repairs in conjuction with a Council organiser. Central Beds sessions are normally on a Thursday, while Bedford Borough sessions are normally on the 3rd Tuesday of each month, starting in April, continuing until late autumn), with sessions lasting from 10:00 to 13:00 Start Points and detail of the work for each session are advertised on this page.
If you are interested in joining us please contact Barry on barry.ingram74@btinternet.com
BEDFORD BOROUGH...... Due to re-structuring of the Highways Department there will be NO activities in MARCH and APRIL. The earliest we will know what is actually happening is early May and rather than make any assumptions at this stage will keep you informed as and when anything develops.
CENTRAL BEDFORDSHIRE... Nothing is currently planned.
There are now three Rights of Way Officers covering Central and South Bedfordshire. In simple terms.. Andrew Gwillam covers East, Michelle Flynn Centre, and Robin Richardson West and South.
A meeting has been scheduled for THURSDAY 5th APRIL commencing at 10-00am at Priory House Chicksands and I would welcome any of our volunteers to join me. Your input is just as important as your presence on our activities so please let Barry know if you intend to come on the day or whether you have any particular questions you would like answering.
